Rugs are often referred to as the fifth wall, and designers are very specific about where in the design process the rug comes in. For us, the rug is one of the starting points, after the furniture lay-out and style has been established. The colors, pattern, shape, and size of a rug frames a room and often ties groupings of furniture together. One or several rugs in a room can make up for a difficult space or furniture that seem unconnected.
Several rug companies have created websites with patterns that you can “color” and size to your needs, and the process is fairly simple for the person who dares gamble with making their own color choices at an often high price tag, but it is daunting for most.
That uncertainty is why clients come to us and ask for our help in making the right choices, and we have customized many rugs via the semi-custom rug companies anyone can find online.
But when an interior room design demands something very specific and we can’t find it – be it size, shape, color, material or pattern, we start out fresh. It was not finding the right choices that got us started on our own rug designs which has pushed us to branch out on our own and offer those designs to the greater public via Etsy. We will launch our Etsy Shop in the near future.
In our current collection we have a flat weave runner called TWIGS, currently in two color ways that can be customized to any color, length and width, and a cut pile version of the same pattern that can be produced as a tufted or knotted rug. 
Another original design, CAMILLA, is a large floral inspired by a traditional Persian rug pattern. TRICOLOR was our first custom designed rug and we also created a door mat version of the same design.
They are available as hand tufted or knotted in several color ways, shapes and sizes.
As we design homes for our clients, we always look to find rugs based on what is available and already made, but more often than not we find that the unique rugs we can design are preferred by our customers over what our clients can find themselves.
